The Love of Music

Music is inspiring. Listening to music can put one in a trance. Music should be part of everyone’s lives. Listening to music, I lose myself in it. There aren’t many things in this world I can completely lose myself, but music is definitely one of them. I went to a concert who had a huge percussion ensemble, and a middle and high school band. It was amazing. Might seem over exaggerated but it really was. To put all these different kinds of instruments together to make beautiful songs is really fantastic. At their age they are probably not appreciating what they are bringing into people’s lives, but one day they will. After high school, people are unable to actually play in a band again unless they want to play professionally. It makes you miss the possibilities of what middle and high school can bring. Different clubs, bands, groups, and so on. One of the few upsides to high school. Music and the arts is continuing dying across the nation because of having no budget for it. Make a voice heard. Keep music and the arts in school. It’s good for you and it’s good for everyone.

Opening doors and windows or anything you can leap through

Eating Taco Bell on a very cold, snowy day wasn’t exactly inspiring in any kind of way…until I read a hot sauce packet that read, ‘if you never do, you’ll never know.’ Who would have ever thought that a Taco Bell hot sauce packet could make you stop and evaluate your own life. Are you following your dreams? Are you setting goals and doing everything you can to achieve them? Are you willing to take any opportunity that comes your way, even if it means flipping your world around? Reading this empty, squeezed dry packet made me completely stop eating my artery clogging food and really think about my own goals and dreams and what I’m doing to live and achieve them. I thought so hard, my food got cold.
Read those annoying packets, you never know where it could take your thoughts.
